Nicknamed “Slim” because he was tall and lanky, American photographer George Allen Aarons is famous for his carefree images of celebrities, aristocrats, Hollywood stars and captains of industry. A pleasure seeker and a gentleman, at a certain point he decided he wanted to enjoy the good life - probably owing to the fact that, as a young photographer, he had enlisted in the US Army and documented the horrors of World War II. In his work, between swimming pools and luxury villas, fashion became an art of living.

Inspired by the House's travel heritage, the Louis Vuitton Fashion Eye collection evokes cities, regions or countries through the eyes of fashion photographers, from emerging talents to industry legends.
