I received a gift purchased from Louis Vuitton. Can I exchange or return it? If so, how do I proceed?

You may indeed exchange or return a Louis Vuitton item received as a gift.

Please remember to keep the original invoice or gift receipt, as well as the original packaging and documentation. These items are required for the return or exchange process.

If you need to exchange your gift, you have 2 options depending on your preferences:
- You can either call our Client Services and speak to a Client Advisor who will be happy to assist you in sending the product back to us and in selecting the perfect new item for you.
- It is also possible to exchange a gift purchased online in a Louis Vuitton store.

Refunds will be made only via the same payment method used for the purchase. Kindly bear in mind that an item purchased online cannot be refunded in-store.

If your gift was purchased at a Louis Vuitton store, you may exchange or return it at the store, with the original invoice and packaging, as indicated above. 

In case of exchanging or returning a gift purchased from Louis Vuitton, please be aware that a label indicating that the gift was exchanged or returned will appear on the purchaser's My LV account.
